Profile: Bo Sejer Frandsen

Bo has worked with intranet and documentation methods since 1991 and is Managing Director at Key2Know.

In the last many years he has experiencez from intranet projects in a large number of major Nordic enterprises. Common for the projects has been managing a large documentation base in both an online and a paper-based environment. The focus has been to create documentation easy to read, easy to find and easy to maintain in an online environment - probably one of the major challenges for all intranet projects.

Bo has also been involved in creating network in the Danish IT business as Chairman for IT Forum Århus since 1998, member of the board in The Danish IT Industry Association since 1992, member of the IT advisory board for the eastern Jutland region and as board member in several IT companies.

After nearly 10 years with the intranet technology we are moving to the fourth generation of intranets.

Content and content structure has always been of highest importance, however only few companies has succeeded in producing a structure which was able to survive more than one intranet generation.

In this session a 7 step approach to create a structured intranet will be presented. The approach is based upon experiences and research and can be used as an effective tool for an intranet project. Examples of intranets from different Danish companies will be used.
